2014-2015
  • Hotel Sahari Fes- Mouhib “pop up” featuring Rothko inspired tie dyed hand bags, accessories and home-ware range. The event ran for 2.5 months and was highly successful for both the hotel and the label. Daily liaisons with international guests highlighting the city of Fes, it’s artisans and history in relation to craft, design and culture.
  • Inspired by the many canvas created by the acclaimed artist “Yaze's”. Mouhib went on to co-curate an exhibition of his works with the Hotel Sahari. After formally introducing Hotel Sahari to the David Block Gallery in Marrakech, being the representative gallery for the artist. The works displayed featured layers of ancient embroideries encased in rich and bold painted colours with gold leaf, presented in highly “modernist” forms and showcasing ancient hand craft techniques of Fes.
  • Collaboration with Heritage Luxury Travel (New York) to manage design tours for there clients who are visiting Fes and wish to engage with local artisans in the medina. I host a number of well received tours per week in Fes.
  • Working with Heritage Travel Company (New York) as the head designer. Developing structures and interiors for the luxury encampment situated in Moroccan Sahara., due to open in late 2016.
  • Design collaboration with Soho House of New York, developing a range of in house products.
  • Design collaboration and sourcing for an Italian architect firm.

  • Engagement and on going collaboration with a New York designer and brand promoter, after successful sales in 2015 between Mouhib and at the the time Parcel & Journey now Kin-Lab Creative.
2016
  • Leading up to the next Festival of Sacred Music, Mouhib will be designing a window display at the luxury Hotel Sahari. Showcasing our new collection. Based on primitive hand drawings in henna, etched on a soft wool wraps. Luxurious Rabati and ancient Jewish/Moroccan embroideries also on wool scarfs. Cotton summer blankets, hand woven in Egyptian cotton with lucid geometric inspired weaving in bold Berber colours. A new range of tote bags featuring transformative leather butterflies and natural leaf vein embroideries in the Jewish/Moroccan “Laarrak style” created with metallic threads in gold, silver and bronze and a selection of silk threads that are hand embroidered and attached to soft tie dyed leather and plain leather panels, in a range of colours and styles.
