Mouhib textiles are woven by hand on traditional looms, using high quality pure wool and Egyptian cotton. The wool in it’s natural state, untreated, hand washed in fresh streams then to the transformation process where the wool is prepared by the weavers from Moroccan villages, of the Middle Atlas Mountains and further a field in Argentina South America. His leather has been hand selected always looking for young, soft skins that are supple yet enduring, that hold colour and support his designs for optimum results.
Back in the studio, Mouhib begins the tie dye and other color and design processes. Using henna and various natural dyes that contain a spiritual essence, a non-tangible blessing commonly known in Morocco as “Baraka”.
These purified artist’s mediums are found in abundance through out Morocco, and we conveniently source them from the merchants of Fes.
Wool Blankets
Mouhib natural carded wool blankets with brightly embroidered wool motifs were inspired
by geometric and primitive designs adapted from Berber facial tattoos and early Moroccan
art forms.
The natural wool a perfect foundation for the contrasting colorful patterns with each
blanket finished with a fringe of desert inspired leather tassels or a longer leather fringing or
simply lovely pom-poms in matching colours.

Pouf
Mouhib Poufs are wonderful alternatives to the more traditional Moroccan ottomans.
Featuring our trademark modernist “Rothko” inspired tie dye extractions on
soft but durable leather panels- masterfully crafted into a range of colourful
sculptured cubes for your living spaces.

Cotton Blankets
Mouhib Summer Blankets- hand woven on vertical looms from high count
Egyptian cotton. The blankets feature a show of geometrical embroidered
designs, created from a range of dyed wool in contrasting shades.
These blankets are perfect for the warmer seasons.
